Concept: Cumberland, ME. The Aria, an energy-efficiency passive solar home awaits LEED certification at the Gold level after completion in 2008. Designed by architect Christopher Briley of the Green Design Studio, the home is modeled after a modern farmhouse with a traditional New England aesthetic. Former Olympic skier Rob Parisien occupies the Aria with wife Krystina and their three children. We took a look inside at how Briley seized this idea.
