Concept: Chocolate. You know it as afrodisiac, addiction, and object of affection. We set out to learn about the best of organic, free-trade, and artisanal chocolates by employing taste-testers to determine their favorites in ten categories. There were bars of milk, dark, white, salty, spicy, nutty, fruity, crispy, crunchy, floral, minty, and combinations of all thereof. We brought the bars together so our tastebuds could mingle with our camera and came up with these new concoctions. (Photography by Jen Causey)
Winners? Well we sure did love San Fran-based Cacao Anasa's Afrodisiac Chocolates, especially that Kiwi-Lime-Pistachio-Sea Salt bar. Role:Art Director, production manager |
