Concept: Environmentally-friendly paint. We've all experienced the negative side effects of paint: breathing in toxic fumes, allergies, and horrible headaches (not to mention those unseeable traces of lead). Low and No-VOC paints have finally reached the market in fair number, so we tested the field to see which were the truest in color, smoothest in consistency, and simply, looked the best on a wall. Illustrator and textile designer Katie Deedy took to the walls with paint-in-hand, so we could frame the best colors for our readers in tried and true fashion.
