Hi, I'm Youngna.
I'm a product leader based in Brooklyn, NY. I have 15+ years experience building innovative digital products, driving product strategy, building collaborative teams, and working with creative people of all types.
Currently:
I'm the VP Product, Child Experience at Homer. I also offer product and leadership consulting to early stage companies focused on building great things for parents and kids.
Previously:
Executive Product Director of NYT Parenting, evidence-based guidance for new and expecting parents, COO/Head of Product at Tinybop, UX/content strategy at HUGE Inc., digital producer at 20x200.
You should also know:
I produced the viral dance film: Girl Walk // All Day (2012), which screened at 30+ film festivals worldwide, and the New York Times called "undeniably exhilarating." (Directed by my husband, Jacob Krupnick).
I speak regularly about building digital products, product management, designing for children, and building a company with a diverse team. Occasionally, I also write.
I enjoy mentoring and coaching team members, and building environments that value collaboration, transparency, and good communication.
Some other projects include:
@kidsbookrecs, an IG account recommending my favorite kids' books.
A variety of handmade ceramics
A limited-edition photography book, and some photo series: Specific Light, Food Geometries, My Father's Heirlooms, The Trappings of Nature, Berlin (In and Around)
